Fairfield County, CT or Westchester County, NY 14.1 players?

Hi,

I have met and played a few people from AZB but would like to find some players who are local for more regular matches. I know there is a very active 14.1 league in NYC at Amsterdam but that is 3 hrs roundtrip for me.

I am located in Stamford, CT and prefer to play 14.1 but also play 9-ball and 1Pocket. I have a Gold Crown III table in my basement and have a couple friends that come over for matches every 1 or 2 weeks but they are weaker players so I give them a pretty big spot.

I play almost every day and would rate myself as a C player. I have taken a few lessons and plan to work on some weaknesses in my game over the winter. While my high run at 14.1 is 30 balls (it was a good day) I am usually happy to run in the teens. My high game at Equal Offense is 97 and my average is about 70.

Happy to play people at whatever level and get or give a spot to make things competitive. I am really just interested in meeting more people who enjoy the game so I can play more matches.

Any Fairfield County, CT or Westchester County, NY players up for some 14.1?

David: If you were out here in the midwest, we could get you plenty of games. I was up in Wisconsin a few weeks ago and played a short set to 50 with Ken on his new table and checked out some of the cues he is making.

Pittsfield, Ma is about 120 miles from me. I am in the bottom left hand corner of CT. Would be a bit of a drive. However, stay in touch since I frequently take motorcycle trips up that way so a match is the spring once the good riding weather gets here would be fun.

If your ever up in the center of the state, stop in Shooters Billiards in Southington, Ct. usually 3 or 4 gentelman playing straight. Good luck.

I'll be in Stratford next weekend or the weekend after if you want to try and play then.
 
Fairfield county

I live in Norwalk, and grew up in Tucson, AZ, moved out here for work, cant find many games or serious players. PM Sent.
 
If you're ever in the New Haven area I would be up for a game. Right now I don't play 14.1 but I was planning on starting soon. I'm about a C speed.
 
Impressed by the local response, yet all so far apart. Old Lyme here, you could make a tour up the shoreline and have a game every half hour.
 
Got the chance to meet up with one more AZBer tonight.

Played J Dog1 from Greenwich a set of 9-ball, game of 14.1 to 75, and a game of 8-ball to finish off the night. Looking forward to matching up again soon.

Also plan to contact a few more of you out there that responded to my post to set up some other matches. If we can network enough people in this area it would be fun to organize a round robin day of 14.1 at some point in the future.
