Besides the logo being backwards his story of his grandpa playing with this cue in the 70's is BS because the script logo wasn't on the cue until the late 80's early 90's. In the early - mid 80's it was the Meucci Originals log, and back in the 70's it apparently had the Mike Sigel signature.

Just thought I'd give a heads up to anyone who thinks they might be getting a $1500 classic cue for $200.

I know the dates are definitely wrong and the info may be bogus but both of the pictures are reversed!!!

It is confusing...are there 2 different ads, or is the "story" just an add-on to the first Meucci ad? If the story goes with the Meucci, no, it can't fit, because of the logo...but $200 for a 97-31 Meucci Olympian w/2 shafts would be a good buy, assuming it is straight.

The second ad says $600...is that about the Meucci, the other cue, both of them, or what?

Yep, pix definitely got flipped in Photoshop, so everything is reversed.

Everything is "iffy" at best.

Yeah, you can tell by the box of chalk.

It's a real Meucci, but the other cue is the more interesting of two... I think the story goes with the mystery cue.

Fake Meucci

The shafts are both black dots. No such animal at the time it was made, which could be anytime during , or after 1984.

It is a 97-31 Olympian...relatively new...not old at all. If it is straight and not totally beat up, I would give $200 in a heartbeat. Send it to Ryan at Muellers and invest another $150 in a refinish, and you have a like new Meucci that "retails" for $1200. You could make a few bucks off it...or, just buy it for $200 and sell it as is for $350-500 locally to a league player.

After looking at the ads again, what crossed my mind almost immediately is that the Olympian may have been lifted from the the poster who listed the cues for 600.00. Ya never know. Based on the way the ads read, I'd say the second ad was not written by the same person. Maybe the seller listing for 200.00 bought it from him, and is reselling? Just another possibility

Meucci?

I have a meucci cue with red dot shaft and its the one that the red dot is 4 in below the ferrle online they said there was only 500 or so made like that anyone know anything about it? Is it worth anything?

Easy enough. It look's like the Meucci is $200 and both cue's are $600. The background seem's to be the same in both picture's and since they say they paid $465 for the no name cue, that is probably where they are coming up with $600.......all specualtion though.

I met the guy tonight. It's super beat up. He was offended that I said it wasn't from the 70's. Nice enough guy, I think ge thought he had an antique, it was just Soooo banged up. Nobody would buy it for 100 if they saw it. One of the ferrules were cracked. It just wasn't taken care of at all. He said "that's what cues from the 70's look like..."

Again nice guy just didn't know much about cues.
