Predator Cues Predator has recently learned of counterfeit cues being sold in the U.S. under the name of PREOAIDR. These cues violate U.S. patent and trademark law and Predator would like to identify the sellers. For a very limited time and on a limited basis, Predator will replace PREOAIDR Ikon or Break cues with new, genuine PREDATOR cues at no charge. To make the exchange, Predator will require the name and address of the seller, the price paid and the date of purchase. Wow, with a name like that, I can't believe someone would fall into a trap thinking it might be as good as a real Pred BK.

Pretty decent of Pred to replace them. Altho, I can see that the cost of replacing them is a far cheaper way of tracking down the culprits.
 
That's the same thing I was thinking. They have to be cheap. I wanna find one, turn them in and get a nice, new, real one.

Well, replacing one knock-off product made in that country (China) with the genuine product made in the same country *has* to be cheaper than trying to track-down the knock-off makers/distributors in that same country. :speechless:

I wonder who the culprit is behind these counterfeit's? It's too bad China won't do anything about it.

Years ago I bought a Ontario sneaky pete, it looked exactly like a chinese made Dufferin Phantom.
 
It might be my eye's, but I think I can see the grain in the fake on the shaft....not even a laminated shaft?

Who could be sucked in by that one?

While I hate design theft I also think they deserve what they get, by having their products made in China the knock off country of the world.

Check ebay, there are many different brands of cues being sold to the world wide market by seller from China and Taiwan, and all the these cues are far less than you could by them here.

I just can't feel sorry for them, I think they should have kept their operation in Canada, the quality of the products were better and their designs would be more difficult to copy.

I see this as well! Terrible that people have to make fakes, but that's going to happen with any great product people want and do not want to pay what they should for it!
