Fake Schon on ebay???? Or is it real????

I looked at the listing again, and at least he's chosen to show all the questions and comments about this cue. I figure that's his way of covering is ass when this all goes south. Hopefully all potential bidders will read this and steer clear of this listing.
 
I guess we need to add new pages to the Blue Book. Turns out there is a "SCHON CUE" and a Schon Cue. Who Knew. I hope Evan gets this pulled before somebody gets hurt.
 
Yep !!I got the same smug response as you guys got, it is obvious this clown knows what he is doing and he is just trying to rip someone off regardless. That how some run their buisness and he is absolutley doing the same thing. I would suggest that if eveyone reports him to ebay they may do something to him, but since they had this many complaints already an still have not pulled it, I have no faith in them.. It's something when you can forget and list a cue as having ivory or even just say like iv--y and they pull your listing but they let this guy go.. I just dont understand. I guess they just want their cut $$$$ <<,ED

I agree he is in a CYA mode now, but I doubt he has anything to lose.
I also doubt he won it.
Could anyone imagine actually playing with that thing?

My guess is he picked it up in a pawn shop as-is for 25-bucks and has very little to lose, so he went ahead and posted the comments.
No wonder he has such crappy feedback.

I'm the one who made the comment about being friends with Bob Runde, and I couldn't believe his response was he was selling a SCHON cue not a Schon. I sent him a comment back stating that either way, all capital letters or not it's still spelled the same way. Here's where he's screwing up...he's actually listing all the questions and comments for everyone to read. If he kept that all to himself his chances of moving this cue would greatly increase. A con-man and a moron. Very nice...idiot.

I am not 100% sure as in most things in life I did not buy it from Evan Clark myself. There is nothing else to say I am not mirepresenting it. The name on the but plate says SCHON If you want to bid go ahead it looks to be about 10-20 years old in excellent condition."

There is a way to get this guy. You could bid on the cue and after winning simply DON'T pay. Then write a letter to the Ebay "resolution" dept. telling them you have discovered it is a fake and that is why you did not pay. That will get their immediate attention and the situation will get "resolved".

like 310,000 - the next guy $400,000 and so on.

I don't know what it takes to trigger Ebay's system into action but you'd think that it would be less than ten reports on an auction from different members.
 
I'm down for some of that.... I think it's a fantastic idea. It may be the only way protect someone from getting ripped off. a bit unorthodox but just as effective. So who's first?

Keep it, your Bud cue is worth more than that particular SCHON.
I upped it to $400 and the reserve hasn't been met yet.

That guy is going to sh-- ,, he is gonna think he got some sucker to bite on this junk, I hope it is not someone that thinks it's real and is going to pay. I tried to put a bid in , and outragous one at that and from after all the meesages I sent the seller , and giving him hell ,,, he must have BLOCKED ME !!! Can you imagine that I want to bid on that nice Schon cue he has there and that SOB, blocked me out from bidding. I never been treated so rude before. !!:grin: Oh well I guess my monopoly money must not have been good enough.. LOL. I asked him in one message if he would do a buy it now in monopoly money..
