I remember seeing Thomas Wayne's Celtic Prince in a Billiards Digest from the mid 90's. I remember it had some beautiful knotwork designs on it though. I don't have the issue any more and I can't locate any images online of it either. I wish he had a web site with a gallery of his work. He does do amazing work.
Newman and Gleason both played with Rambow cues in The Hustler if memory serves me correctly.

Gleason gave his to Wayne Newton, I asked Wayne about it last week, he is my neighbor, we rarely talk. He said I could come see it so I hope I can in the next couple weeks. I'll make a post after that happens. I'm pretty excited about it.
Thanks! I had forgotten how intricate it was. I don't know if it was worth the 103K it sold for, but I think it is easily the most beautiful cue I have ever seen.It was good to see it again.

Not a collector's item by any stretch of the imagination but to leave Earl's white Cuetec out of something like this would be a crime.
