Mezz WD700, Stiff hitting, slightly different taper than the 314 but with lotts of feedback, and low deflection to add. Made in Japan, and it's mostlikely the most popular cue there.
Mezz Hybrid 2, Another Stiff hitting shaft from Mezz but with a carbon core in the center, this is one of the most least deflecting shafts from Mezz, has a very slightly softer hit than the Wd700. Prefered by top Pros, Alex and Mika.
Predator 314, sets the standard, very popular, as Predator is the company that started low deflection shafts. Made now in China. But the hit is not a firm as the Mezz WD700. Still a great shaft. Most used by Top pros everywhere.
Mcdermott I-2, taper just like a 314, with a Carbon insert, great feedback and very nice hit but not as low deflection as the 314.
OB1, very soft hit, due to the foam insert in the core, lotts of cueball action. Pro taper similar to the 314, I have used this shaft even with the hardest tips, and still could not get any feel from it. Probally a combination of wood ferulle and foam insert. Having said all this, there are many players here that love the OB1.
I have been asking about the Cuetec R360 but somehow, I cannot see myself liking this shaft. McChen here has tonnes of info on all low deflection shafts... any info here would be great!
Surprised that there doesn't seem to be allot of Mezz users here, if you guys are looking for a Low Deflection shaft but that hits solid, check out the WD700... cause it is sooo underated.
I haven't spent that much time with the fairly new Predators Blak or Iccon series, I like the handle sizes, but if someone has compared the Blak or Iccon cues series to the Mezz cues here please post your results...
