Tiger Hard Wax and S4 Shaft Sealer

Try Behlen's Woodturner's Finish cut 40-50% with lacquer thinner. I just can't bring myself to apply bee's wax or anything similar to a shaft, sorry. The wax just attracts dirt and grime on a shaft. Wax is great for tapping (machinist's), lubricating joint threads (Butchers'), or polishing a forearm and butt (Oz). YMMV.

anyone here tried a pading lacquer like rapid pad by mohawk??

If memory serves me correctly, I believe Jerry and I pretty much use the same for sealer, so He probably already told ya. Wax, I'm one of those that doesn't use it on shafts either, except for maybe tapping or to plug My centerholes up to keep glue out.
