Ray if we're there on Friday night for the ring game does that guarantee our spot this time? John R. and I should be there. Lui and Jason should be there to. I'm also trying to get Ron to actually come with me this time, but after last time I'm not expecting anything.

Zach - Yes, If you are here Friday night for the ring game I will go ahead and register you for the Tournament on Saturday.

I was wandering if you would allow me to play in the ring game. Just for the action. I'm not a champion by no means and there is players you let play that spot me. Just inquirinig about the ring game, not trying to start a fuss or anything. Just wanna play.

Maybe the Donkey has an idea. Open the ring game and let anyone play. No telling who might show up.

;) We are gonna have to put together something for you,Lewis,Snake & many others. But right now you must be qualified for the tourney to play in the ring game. Keep in touch....I've got an open in the works.

Another week to go. Damn I'm getting bored......Hey Ray how about an Open tournament two weeks after this next tournament(say a $75 entry) race to 9 and 7(limit 64 players) better players quicker matches so you can afford the extra two games...and when does the clicks down there recover the tables? last time I was down there they were pretty slow...

Yeah, that Championship is lightnin'! I sure like playing on it though!

Clicks just recovered 3 or 4 tables. They usually do 3-4 a month. The table maintenance is an ongoing project. Jim Ashby, the MGR, does stay on top of it better than most Clicks that I've been to. Is it perfect...no.

It never fails, the person who wins the tournament never has any complaints. They handle whatever comes their way,nothing effects them.They just get it done.

I have found that if I play on varying types and conditions of tables I learn to adjust to "whatever table" more quickly. My table has Simonis 860 though.

We are also now forming a council to determine eligibility for players that don’t play in tournaments.

The "Council" is deciding on 9 players currently.....

1 has been approved that had a 5-6th finish
1 has been disqualified that has not had a 5-6th finish

results will be posted as soon ....

I was curious about the council also...do you have different people from different cities to consult about a player's speed?? If you don't wanna post it, feel free to pm. :D

The "Council" consists of players that are NOT qualified to play in the Waco tournament and are known for their maturity and fair mindedness.They will remain anonymous for obvious reasons.

and NO..... the donkey will not be speaking on the council. lol:)

The council has voted on 9 Players. If you are coming from out of town you NEED to CALL before leaving to ensure your were not disqualified on your skill level.

**NOTE. 2 players that were previously disqualified can now PLAY. 4 players that were QUALIFIED to play, now CANNOT play. 3 players remained unchanged.
