134 signed up for Swanee

The field is limited to 192. We usually get about 100 to 110 at the office and the rest at the location. The event is over a week away and we have 134. I expect the pre sign-ups to hit 150 or so (at least).

It might even fill up before the event.

Just a word of caution to those that wai tuntil the last minute!!

Definitely an event you don't want to get locked out of if you plan to play but want to pay onsite. This event has sold out almost every event I can remember...and it sounds like this one is going to be no different.

Looking forward to it.

Last year there were only a few spots available Sat AM and there were about 20 people scrambling to get in the door to sign up!!

It appears that this year may fill up before Sat.

Last year when I got to the pool room with so many people were begging to get in, I ended up letting next in line take my spot and just helped out running the tournament. Joe Rogan had originally signed up but couldn't make it, so his spot went to next in line too. Joe got his refund

This year, I'm playing!

Who was Jay Swanson?

Well, I know who he was and where he played out of, but I'd what I'd really like to know is if anyone is aware of any links on the web about him, or any published stories???

thanks,
db

Hi Nick - We do accept late on-site signups for Swanee if there are spaces available. Last two year's we filled up. I think of the 20 or so people who were at the door at 7:30 am last year, about 4-5 got in.

It's best to sign-up for this event before the tournament date to make sure you can get in.

Hey holly when is the dead line to sign up for hardtimes

Only about 25 spaces left in the Swanee

With the 155 or so that have signed up at our office by fax, mail or on-line.

(above is a list of those entered plus a link to sign up)

Also HardTimes is now taking sign-ups - they had about 12 earlier today.

So - close to 167 and we close the field at 192.

That means 25 left. Some are going to be left out!

You cannot sell a spot - it will go to the next on the waiting list.
