Fedor Departs CueTec...?

Yup. That’s how golf companies make money. The difference is in golf no one cares when a 20 handy capper shows up with new Clubs he paid 2 grand for. In pool guys like you get ass hurt by it. Who cares. We need those players of all skill levels to spend money on the game.
You mean you don't go to your local driving range and walk up to someone with the newest TaylorMade driver and tell him its the indian and not the arrow?

I am sure whtye carbon is a great product but not many people are going to pay 700 then chase Viking butt down or attach it to current player at that price point. I rather have entire cue by the same builder not peace together by 2 different companies. Much like been happening with custom cues in the past few years more often. Builder buys the full splice blank and then finishes the cue. 2 names on 1 cue. Zero value for me. Again its all personal what a individual likes.
A Whyte shaft is $500. If you want a custom shaft it's $700. So Whyte is no more expensive than other name brands.

Except when it's some overpriced custom cue, then the same people drool all over it. :ROFLMAO:

Shoot, in my area, there are more FR 400 players with Revo's and BK Rush's than any other cue...with Meucci a close second. Can't run 2 balls, but they got the latest and greatest shaft, screw in extension for 7 ft. table, kamui tip, carrying TAOM chalk, and their Molinari glove, their Hustlin' T shirt, flat billed trucker cap, and blue jeans with weird designs on the back pockets. THESE are the companies marketing to league players.

Maybe Fedor could be the first?:giggle:
Taom is worth the $$ and I will die on this hill.

Also trucker caps are known to raise your FR substantially.

I personally think they should have gone with one brand name for the cue Fedor will be playing. Like have the Siege for the Viking cues and WC for aftermarket or something. There was nothing on Viking's website yesterday. I am definitely not a business or marketing person, but if I signed Fedor I would want a way that the consumer could buy a Viking branded cue and shaft combo that Fedor would be playing the day of the announcement. Like here is the Fedor model with a Siege shaft available today for X price. Here are four other similar cues with color and wrap options that look good with the shaft. But that's just me I guess.
I think everyone that remotely follows pro pool is well aware what cue/shaft combo FG is now using. This shit spreads via the internet like wildfire on a windy day.

Just in time for the MC. Will look great with the Whyte carbon...
I kid.

I saw that too, they.are also avaliable from a few other places around the 500 mark.
Looks like you can, get them in black or white.
From the az article, its the raw black he is going with.

Yes it was satire, sometimes this misses people that don't function at a high level
Really...so why did you not respond to my "low level" comment initially. Sounds a little like the Doom Day Profits who pick a new day of apocalypse. Sorry for my limited satire IQ.

<=== Armchair business quarterback.

Did you all see how many companies and brands are involved? It's alphabet soup. Brand dilution. Should have picked one name for it all and dropped all the rest.
