Are they married? My memory is so bad. I can't imagine that love lasts forever, in most cases. I think I read somewhere that the divorce rate is at least 50%.

Correct. They did get engaged earlier this year. They are both nice people to talk with so I hope they both get through this and are happy.

On a serious note, maybe she was just home sick? I know it's tough what their country was going and still going through, but I'd imagine it was killing her not being able to see her family and just had to up and relocate even if she is a world travelling pro.

I don't think she plans to go back to Russia although she is free to travel there. Her dad lives in the USA and maybe other close relatives.

I always wondered what kept them from getting married so long. Guess we will never know.
