Fedor vs SVB score

if "shane will play filler in 9b", the match would've already happened. they've been trying to get this match to happen for years and that the discipline has been the deal breaker.
I don't recall that there has much "trying to get this match" in the past five years. Shane said let's play 10b and IIRC there was not a "no, let's do 9 ball" response. As I stated Shane will play 9 or 10 ball but prefers 10 ball. And if he wants to play then his backers will back him in any game.

I would like to see that one. It is my thought that Josh isn't particularly interested in challenging Shane's 10 Ball game.
Filler ducked Shane on FB a couple years back. He only wanted to play 9 ball, Shane only 10 ball. Filler went down a notch in my eyes at that moment, and I’m a huge fan of his since he came onto the worldwide stage in 2017.

when did shane say ok to play filler in 9-ball? you obviously know more than pool journalists like mike panozzo so spill the beans

Welp I’d imagine they will be playing again.

Super long sets are SVB’s strong suit, not the M-Cup. That’s a different thing all together.

Pretty good Shane woke up and came back. That’s very very hard to do.

Clearly I was wrong about age and or stamina. Shane faded a bit early today, but dug deep and came back. That’s a true champion, not that there’s a doubt. Just amazing how he’s been doing it for so long and by all appearances is still 100%.

Credit to Fedor, being that close against Shane is SUPER strong. I’m certain he’ll want to play this game again or to 100. Can’t be that close and not take a shot or 2 more.

That was a great sweat🤩

I only have one question.

Was the 5 ball orange?

Fatboy<——-walks out of the door

yes the five ball was orange

Why does this only impact your view of Filler? Alternatively, you could view this as Shane ducking Filler in 9-ball.

Because as much as I prefer luck 9 ball to called shot 10 ball, for a big gambling format of the best of the best, 10 ball is better. It’s because of the break. It’s much harder to make multiple balls. Shane has nailed that break because he spent his life practicing it.

Filler would have been the overwhelming betting favorite on 10 ball and he wouldn’t play it. I personally would have bet Filler then in 10 ball, and still would today.

Filler wanted to dumb down the game to take away Shane’s 10 ball break skill, rather than step up and equal it. When everyone and their mother knew filler pockets balls and plays better than Shane.

Did Alex duck Shane? No, he chased him around and played him for years, losing about each time.

Filler is heralded best in the world by most since his breakout year, yet has been ducking Shane for 5 years.

Yes, he loses some points.

I said that to my knowledge Filler has not responded with an offer to play 9 ball. TO MY KNOWLEDGE. It helps to read the qualifying statements before criticizing.

each player isnt looking to do what the audience wants but do what they feel is in the best long term interest for themselves. just as you would do.
