John,
My humble opinion is that I really like the marketing concept behind your web sites.
I have to be honest with you. I have never visited the Fury site until now, and I also have to be honest with you, that I am impressed.
I am impressed by the marketing direction you have chosen. I like the concept behind your Fury site.
I also like the emphasis on "experience", I think that is so often overlooked by other companies. Experience marketing is something I have done a lot of studies on myself.
I really like how you said you wanted to prove others wrong, that you could build a cue as good as the custom cues, for a fraction of the price. I am not saying I would agree, but I think this is a very smart approach in terms of marketing--it appeals not only to the public looking for a good cue at a lower price, but it also has an emotional impact on those who are fed up with paying for cues they consider overpriced--they want to support you because of what you try to achieve.
I do not know if your market like to read, or prefer to look at pcitures and videos. If it is the latter, then may be your message cannot get through to them very effectively. For me, I like to read, and I think your approach has very good potential. Execution of the idea is a personal preference--I woud not have done it the way you did, but it is just a matter of personal preference.
I like your market approach though. I think you are someone who thinks outside of the box, and Scott is very fortunate to have you.
I am not sure about the Blaze cue site, although I think you have found a nice niche market--and if you do it right, you can target at this niche and make a brand name among them. I am not sure if I know the demographic of this niche you are aiming at, so I cannot say if the site is good or bad. For one thing, I am totally not the target of Blaze, so just because I do not like it does not mean it is not good. You might want to do more marketing research to find out the favorite color, style..etc, of your niche market. This target might not visit Az at all.
About the Sterling site, I think it is very professional. I did not go into the cues, because it is frankly, not really what I would buy for myself. But then I am not your target market, and it is just my humble opinion.
I think it is a professional site, which reflects the professional image of Sterling well.
