Fellini Case with Problems - Reverse Auction

I took this case in on a cue trade and don't have time to refurbish it.
It is missing the clasp, the cloth divider has fallen to the bottom, and
the general condition is pretty good except for some cracks in the leather around the bottom. This is a really old one I think.

Anyway, what the heck is a reverse auction?

1. I tell you everything that's wrong with in the first paragraph.
2. I won't accept any offer under $50 or over $175 for it.
3. It is not first offer or best offer that will win it. It's the
bidder with the best reputation in my opinion.
4. I'll take it back if the winning bidder doesn't like it.
5. I won't end it early. You can bid here or PM - doesn't matter.
6. After you buy it I'll give you negative feedback.

If you have the perspicacity to fish out the center cloth and put
a clasp on it, then I guess you'll have a $300 to $500 Fellini case!

Bids accepted until midnight Friday, Feb 1.

p.s. JUST KIDDING ABOUT NUMBER 6!

My bid= 174.99 Let me know.

LOL, reverse auction.... I bid $1,000,000 and am willing to go down form there....? LOL.

Anyway, I'm a newb here, but have a decent rep thusfar, and will give you whatever you want within that range for the case. Don't really need it, as I take forever to redo these cases, but I liked the idea of this auction, so count me in. No photo's necessary, I've reconditioned thm from all states of uglyness.

Best regards, and nice post!

Fellini Lining

If anyone is interested I had an old Fellini case and the liner was torn out. I contacted Ron Thomas and he put a new liner in for $40. Just wanted to let the winner know that he can get a new liner relatively cheap. Ron is on the road at shows a lot so be patient if you try to contact him. His phone is 337-234-3089. Email is sherry105@bellsouth.net

Great idea, and if that phone don't answer. (337) 254-8484 is the number.

Clasp

Ron will probably replace the clasp for a fee if you ask him also. Ron is a heck of a nice guy.

Reverse Auction Update

Let's say you had an auction in progress and you discovered something new about the item. Something material (heh heh) so to speak. You'd want to know it right?

Well what I found was a real nice cloth separator inside the case. Fully attached, fully functional, no defects! It was pressed smoothly against the side of the case and I didn't see it before.

Now here's a question: was there more than one cloth separator inside a Fellini case? If so this is missing one. If not the only known defects are the missing clasp and some cracks in the letter at the bottom.

I've attached a new picture showing the cloth separator, what a Fellini clasp should look like, and closeup of the cracked leather.

In keeping with the true spirit of a Reverse Auction, anybody who wants to withdraw or lower your bid based on this new info is okay with me - no harm no foul!

There Should Be 2 Pieces Of Cloth Dividing The Case. It Looks In Your Picture That They Are Both There.if One Had Ripped Out, It Would Have Destroyed The Liner. They Were Sewn From Top To Bottom, So It Would Certainly Have Torn The Outer Liner As It Was Being Ripped Out.

Hope The Info Helps.

You are not in the true spirit of a Reverse Auction: you're just another seller who won't name his price!
