Fellini Case with Problems - Reverse Auction

Yet Another New Discovery

There Should Be 2 Pieces Of Cloth Dividing The Case. It Looks In Your Picture That They Are Both There.if One Had Ripped Out, It Would Have Destroyed The Liner. They Were Sewn From Top To Bottom, So It Would Certainly Have Torn The Outer Liner As It Was Being Ripped Out.

Hope The Info Helps.

Hey! You're right - both cloth separators are in there. New picture to follow. Thanks for the info!

Thanks for info

It's a nice case, and I already have a similar old brown one also with no latch...(all the ones I've ever seen had three pockets and held two shafts)...I've been here a short time, and my rep is what it is...so...I'll bid $150...Thanks....

Yep, you're right - we got two separators in there.

You are not in the true spirit of a Reverse Auction: you're just another seller who won't name his price!

see.. if i was to get it.. i would not resell it...

After looking closely at the pic, it seems liner is a-ok - plus,
any shoe repair shop should be able to put a latch on for you.

Are you going to adjust the price? $175 for that case would be
grand theft.

Let's say you had an auction in progress and you discovered something new about the item. Something material (heh heh) so to speak. You'd want to know it right?

Well what I found was a real nice cloth separator inside the case. Fully attached, fully functional, no defects! It was pressed smoothly against the side of the case and I didn't see it before.

Now here's a question: was there more than one cloth separator inside a Fellini case? If so this is missing one. If not the only known defects are the missing clasp and some cracks in the letter at the bottom.

I've attached a new picture showing the cloth separator, what a Fellini clasp should look like, and closeup of the cracked leather.

In keeping with the true spirit of a Reverse Auction, anybody who wants to withdraw or lower your bid based on this new info is okay with me - no harm no foul!

All you need is one of these...........if you could get one anywhere in the world!

In the sprit of this reverse auction, how much more will you give me for it than what you were going to give Chrisonline? Sorry Chris. I won't take less than $50 or more than $175 either. Once I receive it, I will repost for sale, and you can buy it back! I will still make you a deal if you want it for $300 (the low side of your estimate), and you can even choose whether or not you want to put the latch on, because I probably won't.

Oh yeah, almost forgot. I will give you negative feedback, and encourage some of my other friends to do the same! Let me know when I should expect it. I will pm you with my mailing address.

Nah. That's one of the features of a Reverse Auction.
Makes us feel good that somebody comes out better than
we thought. You should try an RA with your Szamboti. You'll
feel even better than I do right now.

Here's a picture showing both cloth separators.

Update: Fellini Reverse Auction

Well it's Friday night and I want to clarify a couple of things before the midnight deadline:

1. You won't see any last-minute gratuitous bumping from me,
like you might see in a regular auction ...

2. I'm not staying up to watch the deadline ...

3. And finally, not to repeat the obvious, but only in a regular auction
is the winning bidder notified they've won. In a Reverse Auction the
winning bidder should notify me.

Thank you all for the interest and (sometimes humorous) bids.
Somebody's going to get a pretty good deal here!

Winner!!!!!!!!!!!.........

Everybody won this is what he should do lololol
