I know we talked about Felt expanding the room.
Yesterday I did a count.
17 7 foot Diamonds
4 9 foot Gold Crowns
7 9 foot Diamonds
1 5x10 snooker table for golf.
The table are recovered before they get to that nasty point, you know what I mean and the balls are cleaned before they are hand out.
I've been in many pool rooms in the 60 plus years I've been playing and only a couple were on this level.

Lots of T.V.'s scattered about and a large projection T.V.
They have a full service bar and really terrific food.
If you are ever in the Denver area it's worth a visit.
With so many rooms shutting down it's nice to see that this one is expanding and upgrading some décor like new carpet to replace some ratty looking stuff.
I was there yesterday from 10 AM to 3 PM and the place was packed.

Maybe JimmyCo can chime in here and add additional info.

All I can add is it is a very nice room with great rates, good food, clean restrooms and friendly, approachable staff that knows everybody by name, including management.

There is a nice room less than five minutes from me with all Diamond tables, kitchen and full bar, but I will drive the 30 minutes or so to play and eat at Felt.

When I first joined AZB, you sent a PM to ask if we knew each other from Felt. I was new to the scene and may never have known about this fun place without you reaching out. So thank you, Bruce.

You are extremely fortunate to have a room nearby with such wonderful equipment and ownership.
Must be a pleasure to play there.
Not too significant, but the only thing missing is a heated 10 foot 3 cushion table.
That would complete it as a contemporary dream room in my mind but in todays
pool culture and availability it sure appears to be as close to billiard heaven that there is.
Enjoy.

Even though not significant, I feel its important. Although 3C may seem mysterious too many of the newer generations it is so much fun it can be addictive. I was bummed last time I was at Griff's in Vegas and Mark let me know he was getting rid of his Carom table.

It's such a beautiful game.
I love it.
When I grew up every room had a 3C table.
Lots of pool players don't realize that playing 3 cushion really can up your pocket billiard game.
Sort of teaches you that the rails are your friends.

No Doubt, I have been playing when ever I get around a table. Very interesting and beneficial for all games on the table.

I've been to Felt a couple times when traveling to Denver on business. It's a very nice room. I just wish it was in So Cal.

Mile High Billiards in Arvada ,Colorado has 2 Billiard tables and a huge 6x12 snooker table that is used for golf.
The snooker table may have the largest 2 piece cue ever, maybe.
It was made by Ernie Martinez and it's about 8 feet (?) long.

I don't go North often but the few times I have gone into MHB those two Carom tables are in use.

Where's Ernie working now? He did some work on my cues back when he was at Showcase.

I can only dream of such a place.

Happy to hear that Felt sounds like a good place to play and hangout!

I've not been in Denver for quite sometime now when I was there my friend and I went to the Colfax Billiard Hall they had some fantastic old Brunswick Gold Crown tables in there .
Are they still open or have they moved or gone away ?

I remember playing on that one on Colfax back when I was in the Air Force stationed in Denver. A nice room for players, if I remember right it had a 10 ft. Centennial, or Anniversary as well. I think it closed back in the mid 80’s. When I returned to Denver in 86 the place we all played at was in Aurora off Hampden? called The Pool Hall, another great place that is no longer open.

It's gone... now that was a real pool hall. That place would attract alot of road players looking for a game. The owner would call Danny Medina, a world class player and he would proceed to take the guy for every penny he had. These guys would play for $5,000 set and not bat an eye. Watching these guys play was the best free lesson you could get.

Sounds like a nice room, I’d love to see it. Next time I’m in Denver I’ll swing by.
