I ran out of quick clean if you don,t have access to chalk off or quick clean is there any other house hold prouduct that is ok to use such as a spray on carpet cleaner?
If you have Dryel at home, brush the cloth thoroughly and then use two of the Dryel cloths to wipe it down. (Dryel is for dry cleaning clothes at home in the dryer.)
First, I use a low powered hand vac (no brushes and not too much power-it will stretch the cloth). Then, damp cloth (not wet cloth), as mentioned above. Thirdly, brush the cloth. Do it every week and your cloth will last much longer!
I use a clean white cotton t-shirt and a spray bottle full of water. I fold the shirt into a square and spray it with water to make it damp. I stand at and end rail and start from the middle of the table and wipe twoards me. You'll be amazed how much dirt and chalk comes off the table! The Tshirt is usually blue by the time I'm done.
The best way is first vacuum then use a damp microfiber cloth. Don't scrub simply wipe. I turn the cloth to a clean side every 1/6 of the table or half of each slate.
