Fight Night 20 November 8th-10th Danny Smith vs Justin Bergman

Billy is fantastic young player he has really improved over the last year or so he has beat a lot of top players for some big cash.

He is one of the best bank pool players on the planet and plays jam up one pocket and rotation games too, the kid is only like 20 years old amazing young player with tons of talent he's fast rising super star for sure.

I think he would make a great challenger in a Fight Night match he plays a super aggressive style that's great to watch.

He and Danny travel together and are often staked by the same guys. Not saying it could not happen, but I don't think they would have the killer instinct as if against someone who is not a teammate.

Danny on the hill.

He leads 4-0 in the ball count.

Justin made a great out to get Danny off the hill back to 8 games down

I could see the headphone thing happening in an amateur league but these top players I feel like want to play their own game. I feel like most of the time in the mosconi cup when someone talks their teammate into a different shit they miss or get bad because they aren't shooting their shot. One pocket would be the game though that maybe a pro would benefit from a one pocket guru.

Such is the life of the wildebeest, separated from the herd, alone on the plains of the Serengeti. Sadly there can be but one outcome...

In all seriousness...I haven't seen anything like this before. Danny played the best one pocket I've ever seen yesterday.

It's hard to say that for sure. Maybe if he was playing Alex he wouldn't get the same moves, maybe the dynamic would change. But from what I've seen I don't know who can beat this guy. He seems to get more out of every shot than anyone else.

After reading this, I really want to see him play. I have heard the name before, but maybe it was his father's name I heard. Was / is his father a pro player? Sounds like a famous pool players name from the past. I do not know.

I hope that Bergman can make a come back.

He wants no part of Alex , Alex is entirely different player maybe the best one pocket player on the planet as of now

Oh, for sure. Alex is the king of the hill, no doubt about it.

I have just never seen one pocket played like I saw it yesterday. And against a player that knows the game and shoots as straight as anyone. Danny demonstrated he plays a level above great. I'm not sure how good that really is, but it was impressive.

This match kind of reminded me of SVB vs Corey. At the beginning people thought Corey was the favorite, by the 2nd day Billy/Grady were declaring SVB the best 10 ball player that's ever played the game. I'm not saying this was the exact same, but for me it went from considering Danny a great player, and now considering him about the best I've seen.

I don't play one pocket at their level so it can be tough for me to figure out what would happen with these different match ups. I would never bet against Alex. I'm just not sure I'd want to be against Smith unless that's who he was playing. I still think Alex will make fewer execution errors, but my point is really that I think DS is amazing and look forward to him playing some of the top known players. Someday he will be the best if he isn't there already.
