but to post on this one,,,
it's called pool from where i'm from( reyes's hometown).. and it's not for kids...it's for all...a lot of youngsters starts playing "pool" then they move up to billiards-meaning pocket pool in the philippines-- filipinos never really called pocket billiards pool ,,instead we called it billiards- while billiards really means the games of caroms and 2 and 3 cushion..
we have played it alternate to "billiards"..we use to play big money on these types of table..and it's more difficult than billiards(pool) because you cannot do a lot of maneuvering on the cue ball(pamato)- which is 3 times heavier than the smaller pieces..
it teaches you to be very good in pocketing and positioning,,,by the time you move up to billiards..you are already pretty much have a god knowledge of billiards..
