I beat him today on a bar box...barely...7-6. I can't believe how much harder that 10-ball is over the 9-ball ghost. Must be I'm not breaking hard enough to get a good spread. Johnnyt

I tried him in 10 ball for the first time last night.

Lost 7-4, 7-3 and 7-4 .... lol, atleast im consistant.

How do you rack the 12-ball ghost? All 15 and take the 13, 14, and 15-ball of after the break? Johnnyt

out-friggin standing.

And it ain't just YOUR break, it's everyone (except SVB and Busty). 10-ball ghost on a stingy 9-footer is double tuff!!

When looking at a typical 8-ball style rack, you remove the 1st, 3rd and 5th balls in the back row. It is a good game for practice.

Thank you for the 12-ball racking info and thank everyone for the kind words. Johnnyt

Do you take BIH after the break?

That's exactly what I'm wondering.

I tried 9B ghost for the first time, with the BIH after the break.
I beat the 9B ghost 7-3. CORRECTION: 6-4. Double checked on my scrap paper with notes.
I think I got lucky though, I had a few racks that were torture...super tough shots and some lucked in shots. I did play another rack and won. So, if it was a race to 7 (rather than best of 10), then I got 7-4.

But when I tried w/o BIH, I lost 5 in a row.

I realized that the break was killing me.
I had 2 dry breaks, and the other three breaks, I was hooked on the first shot.

Talk about night and day.

I don't think I'll ever do the BIH anymore.

I gotta work on my break.

Baby steps, Johnny, baby steps. lol

Seriously, congrats. I never play on bar tables, but I'd think the clusters would make it harder to run out than on a big table.

I'm back to the 9-ball ghost after lunch. The 10-ball ghost kicked my a$$ all morning. Yesterday most have been a fluke...but I'll get him yet. Johnnyt
