Finally finished my pool table light

Very cool documentation with pictures. I like threads like these. Good stuff man and we'll done!
 
My understanding was that the light should be high enough that it doesn't get in the way and that there aren't any shadows. It's sitting at just under 82" off the floor and the lighting is great.
 
looks great, but there's an even easier solution that gives off more light. Just create a 2x8 frame (only needs to be at most 6 inches high) with a 1/4 inch lip around the bottom edge with some kind of thin molding and just sit two of these in there:

I say "gives off more light" because these are self contained office ceiling light fixtures with a proper reflector behind the light. They come with a transparent plastic diffuser sheet, but I also used the honeycomb chrome stuff like you have there. Gives tons of light.
