i was reffering to last night, hilbilly and jerry forsieth commentated the raj hundal and adam smith match, cw was in the booth for lee and yu ram cha, and btw some great commentary tonight with raj hundal and cris delagarza for the hohmann martinez match....its funny you make assumptions about people youve never met or heard speak like raj and turns out hes a nice chap always took him as a ahole but was so wrong.
I have always been a big Raj Hundal fan, and he knows it because I've told him so!
I have heard his commentary before on TV, and I think he's intelligent and offers good insights into the game. Plus, that accent is, well, sexy! :grin-square:
Was nice to hear Raj and Christine. Christine stuck to the pool but Raj had a lil color in there. Christine sounded a lil nervous or unsure. They both had lots of giggles about "Ball cleaning" which I figure you're not gonna hear from the usual fogeys :B I kept waiting for Raj to go "so do you want to go out for coffee after this?".
I got to hear JoeyA commentate on that schmidt vs. putnam match. Nice mellow delivery Joey! And worth listening to. Sounds like you'd been doing it forever.
I like truly colorful commentary and accents are a plus. I think I'll take "raunchy" over "professional" any day.

It's not as easy as it seems!! You are very good Joey. I too am always looking for ways to improve. Going back and listening to my first one was very depressing!! LOL. My second one was much better after listening to a few JoeyA ones!
. I have notice that since the replay has no chat, when you asnwer questions verbally to chatters it makes no sense later on the recording! LOL. I started trying to answer in complete sentences referencing the chatters handle. Hard to remember to do.

I have only been asked once to do commentary so when I was asked I was naturally nervous. I thought well they are gonna put me on some little match not anything big. So I ended up doing the commentary for Duel and Archer. Some of you may have heard it and I guess I sucked because I have not been asked again. I guess I talk too much

If you never make any mistakes, how can learn what works? Not everyone can be a natural like our friend Joey!

I know I am biased here but I can't understand why we still have not had Archer or SVB on the TV table? They are the 2 top ranked American players? Lee has been on twice and I think another one of the ladies has been on more than once. I think since we are this far into it and to not have had them on is confusing to me.

I think people really like at least one accent in the booth. LOL Of course I have NO accent, y'all!
