Finally, something other than a glove...

These would even be good to have in my case if I cut off the part connecting the thumb and forefinger (the foreskin?). That part of my hand doesn't touch the stick so I'd want that out of the way. Are the three finger sleeves available unconnected?

I might actually try this, I could never bring myself to try a glove, I laugh on the inside at people wearing gloves, I can't help it, I am a gloveaphobe.

Why? Unless your hands are disgusting you don't need them.

In fact, even if your hands are disgusting you probably don't need them. Just do what I do: carry around a moose-head and bridge with that. You won't have to worry about moisture and your bridge will be the same EVERY TIME!

Gloves are for children who like to play dress-up.

I know a guy that ran 400 balls, won the US Open, the DCC One Pocket, and SBE Pro Player Championship - wearing a glove.

He laughs all the way to the bank.

Men who are afraid to wear a glove have doubts about their masculinity.

What about women who are afraid to wear gloves? Do they doubt their femininity? Do they doubt their masculinity? Do they flout your anonymity? What about men who are afraid NOT to wear gloves? Do their loins lack for masculinity? Do they mount another's femininity?

So many questions.

Would CJ Wiley have lasted more than 45 minutes in a 10-ahead set with John Schmidt if he hadn't been afraid to wear a glove? Did Schmidt's glove cause Wiley to doubt his masculinity?

I know a guy who wore a sequenned glove in the eighties that laughed all the way to the bank too (not at all comparing him to JS), but that doesn't make me want to wear one or emulate him (especially his extra-curricular activities - and I don't mean Elvis' daughter).

:slap: Are you calling my hands disgusting? LoL

Wondering why we need gloves is kinda like beating a dead horse, :deadhorse: some of us enjoy it and some of us don't.

does this work well in reducing sweat caused by pool gloves?

maybe i will just try cutting off parts of my old glove..

Tip covers?

What's the story with the tip covers? Anybody have them? Do they really stay on until taken off? How? I have a cushy case interior and put my shafts in with the tip down, I'm guessing the tip cover would probably come off if I try to do that with with the tip cover on.

Actually, maybe I should just make myself a whole "sleeve" for the shaft. Hmmm, have to think about that...

I sell them @ $5 each, 3 for $10. You have to put your shaft in your case tip side up. I also have sleeves available. Most use a suitcase type cue case with them. Others including myself use them in a multiple tube style case. The different colors help you to quickly identify which shaft is which without having to take it totally out of the case to look.
The BEST feature of course is the fact that the Cue Tip Covers keep your case clean and in new condition inside. Comes in handy if you change cases from time to time. A CLEAN case sells faster and for more $$. Hope this answers your question.

Are the tip covers secure when you out them on? Will they stay on as you take your shafts in and out of your case? I have a Murnak. Thanks!

As long as you follow the following, you will have no problem:

1. Cue Stick tip must be tip-side UP in your case.
2. Hold the "Cue Tip Cover" in place on the cue when placing the shaft in or out of your case. Note: If you just drop your shaft into your case, the force of it hitting the bottom will make the Tip Cover Pop-Off!!

This product is a woven cloth with a padded interior that will stay put on your Cue Stick...Unless Someone -or- Something knocks it off.

The PLUS is that it allows air circulation, therefore allowing your cue tip to breathe. They won't trap moisture like some other tip guards and warp the end of your cue.

Hope this info answers your question. I tried to cover everything.

Oh Yeah...This is the link to Pool Dawg: http://www.pooldawg.com/product/cue-z-cue-tip-cover

They sell my Cue Tip Covers. If you need Brown or Scarlet Red Buy them from the Dawg. I'm out of stock on those colors right now, sorry.
