This is the original cue, from John Wright's web site, owned by Fatboy.

I will bring it to Valley Forge next year. Eric....if you are going, bring the Bushka too and we will photograph them together there.

I just love the classic stuff. Mr Clifton sir....you are a genius. Can't wait to see it in the flesh.

:( :( :( It looks like someone has broken into Tony Clifton's work shop and stolen all the cues whilst he was out of town. Including my finished Bushka. It makes me sick to my stomach. Don't know what to say right now........but I am really feeling down and I feel even worse for Tony.

Tommy.....when Tony is up for it, we need to compile a complete list of what is missing.

AZbers....please be vigilant in the meantime. Apart from Fatboy's original, there will not be many cues around like this....and the matching case is a giveaway.

Thanks Si. If anybody has ever been to Bill McDaniel's old shop you know it is right beside a low rent Motel. Tony says that the Police think it was one of the crack-heads living there. I went with Tony today to the local Pawn Shops and made the rounds to the likely fences here in Jackson. The Balabushka is the only one he had pictures of, but the two other cues are easily identifiable. If you own a Thoroughbred, you know what I mean. The other two were Ebony pointed Davis blanked cues with traditional blk, ong, grn, and nat veneers with Cortland green with white spec linen wraps and Ivory 1 1/4 buttcaps and the Brunswick red bumper. Both were Ivory jointed as well. Keep your eyes out for the cues and thanks from Tony for every one's help.

OMG I am SO SORRY to hear that!!! Unreal. I hope that Tony recovers everything that was stolen. This is a sad sad story which I hope for a good ending!!!! ****ing Lowlifes!!!!!!

The pictures you posted are of completely awesome matched work. How sad to think of it in the hands of complete morons.

I missed out on seeing this thread up until now.
What great looking cues and some great work being done.
Hopefully things will be recovered and the loss will be only time... Thinking positively.

When they are up and running, I would love to know about it and to have a blank I have in my possession finally turned into a cue.

Wow, just wow. What an awesome set of cues. You know, I can appreciate the high end, fancy, full of inlays type cues but in my heart these classic style cues rule the roost. Can I say wow again?

Oh man, that is horrible news! I'll keep a lookout here in the Chattanooga area.

I'd suggest keeping an eye on the pawn shops in Memphis & Nashville, as they are the 2 closest big cities. This sucks!!!

sorry to hear about this,i'll try to get by some of the pawn shops near JOB this weekend.how many cues in all?

Wow, I didn't even see this before I posted my earlier comments. What a bummer. What the hell is wrong with people that they feel the need to steal someone else's property? Jesus. I hope they turn up somewhere.

Just an odd question, and I mean nothing by it other than curiosity, if any of these cues are customers orders will the maker still honor those orders and re-make the cues?

> If the thieves or whoever they get dumped to tries to sell them here in my town, which is about an hour away from Jackson,I'll be the one that gets called to look at them and try to give an idea of their worth. I'll do anything I can to help,if I have to physically sieze them.

When I finish machine shop school here in just a few weeks, that shop is one of the places I plan to talk to first about a job :D . Tommy D.

Thanks for the support guys. I am really feeling bad for Tony. He is just a wonderful guy with the biggest heart in the business. No one deserves this but for me its made even worse knowing its Tony. The man works real hard....on and off the machines. The amount of effort he puts into each cue project is apparent when you look at his work. Knowing some POS has it that doesn't understand the value or intricacy breaks my heart.

I started out

looking at this and really loved the work. Then I got to the part about the cues being stolen.

Fences, pawn shops, and dealers .... someone might be looking to trade. Mention it to anyone that has a line to them.

I'm hoping for you ....

A couple of Thoroughbred Brazilian Rosewood Masterpieces

Tony sent these pics to me today. Enjoy. These already have a new home.
