Wooooooohoooooo!

So stoked right now. I know it might sound really silly but I'm so happy about my first break and run.

It's been two months since I've started playing regularly and practicing a bit on the bar box where I work. I've gotten progressively better but tonight I made my first break and run in 8 ball and it felt amazing.

I was breaking and made 3 balls, two stripes and one solid. Table had a nice layout. I felt really in control. There's only one shot that I had a big cut to make and I didn't really pay attention to cue ball control but apart from that It felt really good, paced and planned.

Had to make a 90 degree cut on the 8 also. My heart was racing. I literally hugged the guy I was playing against when it went in. So here's to the first of many!

Lost your virginity! Lol. Break and runs are like sex. They are all great, just not like the first one.

Congrats, first time running out is a huge confidence builder.

Huge congrats.

Now you know you can do it.

Félicitations pour ton premier ERO! Are you playing in a VNEA league in Quebec? I played for doolys a few years back, great fun and nice organization. As others said, the first one is very memorable, and I hope that you have many more to come!

Not yet! Im way too competitive to allow myself to play in a league right now. I lnow you guys are going to say it doesnt matter and ill only learn from it and improve but until I feel like I can win I won't be happy.

Nothing like the first! I still remember mine.
Now you're hooked for good. You'll eventually need to do it every day.

Congrats !!! on a job well done !! I am not sure when I broke and ran my first table at home or in league, but back in 1988 at the sands in Reno, which hosted the VNEA International Championships, I'll never forget my very first game on that stage of competition as I broke, made four stripes and the three remaining stripes set up as ducks with a 8 ball hanger, yep, ran my first table ever played in competition at that stage.......... yep, only one of the entire tournament, lol, still a great memory though.

Very cool, congratulations!!!

I've been playing for a few years now, and I don't break and run as often as I think I should. They're still memorable to me, and very satisfying.

Again, well done.

Congrats on a job well done. :clapping::clapping::clapping:

I have been playing a little less than 3 years so far, I kinda of remember my first 8b & 9b break & runs (in competition anyways) the only problem is that with many table layouts I look at I think I will run that rack and when I do not it is very disappointing.

Congrats!
Keep practising and many more will follow!

I had an 8 pack handed to me last night, thats a whole new level of insanity.
