I've been thinking about flame colors on full splice cue but with re-cuts. And this spring, came the customer with the same idea . It is very stimulating :). After several failures,

I was able make the blank.
Hopefully soon I'll complete this cue.

Very nice, and I see no broken off inner points like most others suffer from. Must be good adhesive and technique.

Thank you.

My technology is different from the standard for full splice pool cue. I specifically showed an unsuccessful piece. People often ask me about the sharp points on both sides. I hope with this picture all will be more clearly. The technology is a bit more complicated and with no guaranteed success. But the points obtained are sharp.

Cue just completed. All white is mammoth, including ferrules and inlays. Ring between the mammoth white - black buffalo horn. Joint - whale tooth. Ordered length of the cue 61 "(30" shaft and 31" butt). Thanks for looking :).

Hey Dmitry,

You have a lot of talent and ingenuity and are a honest guy. As we cue makes all know, some wood does not want to behave and become a finished cue.

Great Job.

Sweet Flame Recuts. I remember the one Eric (Sugartree) did and i really loved that cue too.

Spectacular.

Sharp at both ends. I remember talking about this in a thread and the examples shown were not really sharp at both ends...only "nearly" sharp on the bottom. To me, this is the top, as good as it gets.

Very well done.

EDIT: As I remember in that conversation it was even questioned whether it was even possible to achieve a true re-cut full splice that would be sharp at both ends. Truly a technical achievement.

Rad...

This cue really does appear hot! I love the look of the double hoppe ring, and the black horn is a nice touch. Those points are just outrageous!

Thanks. Our technology is different from the standard for full splice.
tommie1351 in one of the topics wrote "It looks as though it is sliced in two directions with recuts.". In fact it is true. Sharp points are obtained automatically. But the technology is sophisticated and very unstable, often break off the tips of crowns. But the result is very interesting, it makes sense to take trouble.
