I don't understand sellers who panic with more than 12 hours to go, thinking they aren't getting what they want, and pulling the auction. I've done many auctions on eBay and I always put the item starting at 99 cents, and guess what? Invariably it sells for fair market value 99.9% of the time. Sometimes the bids don't come in until the last 30 seconds, or even last few seconds, to make it happen -- but it does. I've had several items double, triple in bids in the last 60 seconds. That's just the way it goes.
Sellers who end auctions with 12+ hours to go have no concept of watchlists (people who are waiting to bid at the last moment), sniper programs, etc.
