Have you guys seen the propoolvideo.com matches with Earl? One of them was against Duel. Pro players acting human, missing, getting mad, playing bad shape off routine shots. Somone in the comments said it was great to see that instead of the edited ESPN pool where everthing is edited to the best shots and I totally agree.
 
WHAT???? Earl got abusive and made derogatory comments...I dont believe it.

I love the match when Corey scratches and Earl yells out.... "Foul!"

Corey then says something like, "You don't have to yell Earl, I'm not going to cheat you".

Then a few racks later when Deuel scratched once again, Corey yelled "Foul!" twice as loud as Earl.

Classic interaction between two people who have obviously played a lot of pool together.

I am telling you, Earl is the Micheal Jackson of pool. Started out as the best, and slowly went nutso. Keep an eye on him, he may pull Bubbles out of his elbow contraption thingie.

Say what you want about Earl, but when he has his head on right he's still one of the best. I love watching him when he's in stroke, it's like magic. Johnnyt

you guys notice how slow the table is in that video? I think thats why Earl won so easily. He came up on the older slow equipment, and was in dead pop right away. Corey kept coming up a little short on some key shots and it got him frustrated....IMO

in fact i'd take the 'one of' part out personally!! nobody hits the balls quite as sweet as earl - any cue sport.
 
FWIW, that table they are playing on is tough on the break. I played Scotty Townsend on that table last year and I think a ball dropped on the break maybe twice.

The only players I have seen consistently make a ball on the break on that table are Donny Mills and Tony Crosby.

I think that is the toughest table to play on in that room - and I am not surprised that they both had trouble with it.

Sure he is great, and I'm not talking about his lack of skill. But if anyone acts the way he does in my poolhall, they would be kicked out and banned.

Doubtful.

Earl is a moneymaker for anybody that has him playing in their room. People show up to see Earl not only because he is one of the greatest ever - they show up to see Earl because you never know what is going to happen.

Put Earl in your local room for a night - have him play challenges, sign autographs, etc - the room will make money -trust me on that ... In that environment, you will get the opportunity to meet the man that very few people take the time to get to know.

No doubt people will come see him, and I met him before. I am saying his behavior towards the audience and his opponents, if you or I did it, we'd get a mouthfull of cue. I don't know how many videos there are of him standing to look at some-one elses shot. I remember in the Hong-Kong challenge, he at least once went up to the table when Efren was shooting to say something about his shot. In the whole match, Efren said nothing to anyone, Earl is complaining about this person moving, that person talking, the ref has dirty hands. He would make someone a great mother-in-law.
