Florida Pro Tour Stop #1 Melbourne

I'll be there even though I'm not real excited about the schedule Ditoro has made up (Melbourne is usually Great though).

There are way too many South FL dates and they never get as good of a turnout as the rest of the stops. Nobody that I've talked to that plays the tour likes going to South FL because it only draws players from one direction (north) and is way too far too drive. :(

Considering the other options, like no tour, driving 4 or 5 hours to possibly win $4k is a dream. People have driven further for less, we are lucky they are putting something together for us.

Two in Miami and one in Hollywood does put more way south then usual but its still only 3 of the 9 tournys. There are always that many in the Tampa area so its not really that bad. What hurt this year is there is no stop in Jupiter or WPB when there is typically 2 or so in that area. Instead it looks like he had to replace those stops with ones in the immediate Miami area.

I will probably not travel to the Miami stops even though its about the same drive for me to get to any of the tourny's. If I played well enough to cash in these I would probably travel to all of them but considering that I am dead money I need to take a few off so I decided not to go to the ones down south.

As of 15 minutes ago; we have all systems GO! for the tourney on Friday, and Sat. But there are eggshells out there that if broken will prevent my appearance.
Maybe we can try that kick shot that I am being told I can not hit.
 
Extend the Florida Pro Tour to PENSACOLA

I was looking at the schedule myself and wondered why there were so many southern florida stops.

If they ever had one of the Florida Pro Stop Tours in PENSACOLA, they would likely set a record for entries. They would be drawing on Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Georgia in addition to their Florida base.

I would hope the word gets to Johnny Detoro (sp?) about the potential for a record breaking number of entries if their pro tour is extended to PENSACOLA.
