Florida Spirit Tour Update?

Blackjack,

It was great seeing both of you again. The company was great, and the level of play was top notch. Hanging with Blackjack, had a chance to watch a number of matches and these ladies can flat out play....learned a few new safes and saw some strong kicking skills. For those that can, support these ladies and show up for future events - you will be impressed.

As a single guy, I can say there were a number of good looking women with strong pool skills there.....so it was kinda like heaven :D .

Congrats to all the competitors, a truly great event. If you can make it in the future, support these ladies and the tour.

Hey Jason -

It was great seeing you again! It was great to make the trip up there for Saturday and to watch Jessica earn that qualifier in that match - sweating the action with you! You got to see the result of all the hard work and how frustrating it can be to get that last game when you're stuck on the hill. Jey played great !!! Let me know when you get back to Texas!

If you plan on making it up for the next event at Capone's, let me know! lol... FWIW, Crystal made the long drive from Miami... you should have called shotgun! Let me know if you need anything!

BTW - if anybody has any way of getting in touch with Elizabeth Zingale, let me know - I would like to sponsor her in the event at Capone's.

I'm pretty sure last years Spirit Finale was $7500 added and every spot got paid. That is their way of showing appreciation for all of the players that support the tour. They also keep track of stats and give away prizes to those who have earned it and everyone got some small prizes. I played on a few different tours when I was qualifying and I have to say the Spirit tour made me feel the most welcome. I haven't had a chance to make it back to the tour this year yet but plan on making it to the last few events. I highly recommend this tour to anyone living in Florida or not.

Sarah,
It would be great to have you down here again this year for the finale! The girls from Atlanta have been coming down and eating it up - Monica looks extremely happy playing in these events - and she is a great asset to the tour - we love having all the WPBA players show up because it solidifies the fact that the LST is the toughest action for the price!

If you plan on coming down - let me know - I'll help you out in any way possible. There are only two events left - the one at Capone's in September, then one all the way down in Hollywood in October(I know how you love that drive - lol) - It would be great to see you come back and defend your title!

There are actually 3 events, the big final is the first weekend of November, which unfortunately conflicts with the Amateur Championships. :(
