Follow Up to Stevekur1 Post Here is the video

i've always thought it was cool to get to see these videos of az'rs. it let's you put a face to the name and see how well people really play

yeah im going to convert the file of that one today and throw that one up. I consider myself very lucky to have a teacher like steve to play with all the time he really is trying his hardest to teach me control when all i want to do is wind up and smack break shots and secondary break shots. But as always he is right im learning control and i have a feeling with his help it will lead to some much higher runs in the future. Fingers Crossed.

Would like some thoughts on my little run!

Thanks
Steve

1:25 tough shot to get out from under the rack.

2:00 nice controlled break. Everything out.

4:17 nice pattern. nice soft shots under control.

Soft break but good spread.

6:19 I was wondering why you chose to break from below with no insurance balls. I thought you might be able to go out in the middle and break from above.

Draw on the break and soft kept you down below the rack. You had one shot. the stripe in the side.

7:21 wow was that a soft hit on the 2 or what?

9:15 You got on that ball pretty good.

Soft break again, but got enough to shoot at.

Tough break on that last shot.

Thank You so much for your thorough Investigation.

I Will Watch the video and take notes to the times that you have pointed out, to try to explain myself.

But the bottom line is that i was shooting real cold, and wasnt very comfortable in front of the camera. But you have to start somewhere!

Counter-Break down!

Here are my Thoughts or excuses!

1:25 - Hit shot on the 8 ball too soft and ended up dead straight, was forced into the tough dead straight shot of the rail under the rack

4:17 - Pattern was pretty good, although watching it now i see what i could have done different. The break ball didnt go straight in, Had to spin the hell out of it !

6:19 - Gambled on the break under the cluster without insurance, but felt confident that i would have a shot if i hit it with good speed. And yeah i almost could have overdrawn it and had no shot!

7:21 - 2 Ball barely Drops, i slight breeze would of kept it out. But i wanted to stay above that little cluster of 2 balls so i could open them up

9:15 - Good thing for inside Juice, cause i was on the wrong side of the 6.

Followed by the break shot from under the rack, i didnt want to over power the shot and miss or come right back into the rack and have no shot. since i felt that that the angle off the rack was gonna carry me to low on the rail and with spin would carry me right back into it.

Maybe i should have shot it with inside english to carry me around underneath it.

Then finally the MISS, i got distracted. Somebody opened the front door and broke my focus. If i made the shot though i wouldnt of had a shot anyways. The only ball i end up with a shot on is the one that i miss (1 Ball)

Thanks Again for your break down, cant wait to post another video so you can analyze it for me!

Steve
