For Sale 1972 George Balabushka

mzbhavnhrl, if you're sure it's a Bushka, send it off to Tascarella & get a letter of authenticity. Otherwise, that is a darn pretty Palmer.

balabushka cue

OMG i said my uncle found the bill of sells and it was a 1970 not a 1972. he wasnt real sure what the exact year it was till he found that today and called me.

Agreed, if you're certain that its a Balabushka, then send it to Pete Tascarella to get a Certificate of Authenticity. There are too many similarities between this cue and a 3rd Catalog Palmer Model 12. If it is verified and authenticated, then you won't have a problem selling it.

There's a great plan man...

As mentioned above, send the cue to Pete cross your fingers and wait a bit. Just stop the sale for now until you know for sure. Maybe your uncle bought a George and a Palmer and got rid of the wrong one over the course of 40yrs. Costly mistakes happen... One or two more months after having the cue for that many years is not such a big deal. An old receipt wont do much in my opinion anyhow.

Palmabushka?

Tried to sell this as my Palmer for $350. Since the butt cap was replaced and the linen wrap changed to leather, and it has been refinished, who can really tell what it is. I think it plays just like a Palmabushka.
Seriously though, The pin on mine is much tighter threading, a little longer,
and the end more rounded than the cue in question.

Is It Still For Sale?

How much does your uncle want for the cue please? If it is in fact a Palmer it is still a fine cue.

I think it could use a refinishing.

I think it is a nice cue.

Do let me know if you are selling it.

Thank you

Best regards
Chris

Let the man sell his cue, at least now he is certain what he has and can price it accordingly.

Here is the deal.. "the man" said he had a bill of sale claiming it was a George Balabushka from 1970. So when someone says that have something, and they DON'T .. That is step one to being setup by some sort of scammer. So I, as I am sure there are others, would like to see his bill of sale.

So if YOU want to buy his cue, then be aware he has already LIED once. Which everyone should realize.

post #5... My uncle called me today and found the bill of sales and it is a 1970 balabushka to be exact.
