For sale is a test hit only pristine Jerry Rauenzahn 8 Point Wrapless Full Splice Hoppe Style Pool Cue with 3 Shafts. Everything that is white, Joint, Ferrules on the 2 ~R~ Shafts, Hoppe Ring and Trim Rings, is Ivory. This cue was delivered in 2011 and was Jerry's first (and still only as far as I know) 8 point cue. He marked it #1. This cue features a great piece of Ebony hand spliced into a great piece of curly Maple with 8 Points with 2 shades of blue veneers. The 2 Rauenzahn shafts are unhit and never chalked. The cue has hit about 12 shots with the matched (by Jerry) pre-cat Predator shaft. Everything is straight apart at together. There are no dings, dents or damage. The cue is pristine.

The butt measures 29 1/2 inches and weighs 15.75 ozs.
Both Rauenzahn shafts are 29 3/4 inches and weigh 3.95 ozs. with 13mm tips
The pre-cat Predator shaft measures 29 1/2 inches and weighs 3.9 ozs with a 12.75 mm tip.
The joint pin is 3/8 - 10.

As always, nice cue Kevin. I did not even know Jerry was doing his own full splice cues. Although, I probably should have. Jerry takes great pride in doing as much of his own stuff as he can. This is a very nice 8 pt. Good luck my friend!

Beautiful Cue

Alot of Cue for the money. Jerry's full splice Cues sing through the ball.

What's funny is I now see this post and jerry is currently building me an 8 point full splice. Wenge wood into curly. 29.5 length and 30" shafts. Makes me much more excited to get it now that I seen one finished. Best of luck to your sale.
 
This will be the cue to own once Jerry's cue status is elevated (his recognition is long overdue). Jerry's workmanship are amazing and this full splice is as good as any of the other top cue builders (eg. Hercek, Tascarella). If he continue this kind of work....I would not be surprise if this cue become 3K in a few years. A very nice full splice...love the veneers combination.

Btw, those tips really gotta go.
