For The Bar Players... What Your Dive Bar To play???

Aussies Pub and Underwood Bar in Omaha, NE and whichever is the closest bar with a table when I'm traveling!

I'm not giving up my honey-holes. I used to have a list of bars and which sucker played what game and what they'd usually donate. Tulsa used to have bar action everywhere. Its all but dead now. Sad. Best dive in t-town is 'The Buckaneer', oldest bar in Tulsa. A list like that was making the rounds in the eighties. Three or four people told me I was on it but nobody was showing it to strangers. If you have Hu or any of my nicknames, a large hairy fellow playing out of the Rac-it-Bac or maybe Rak-it-Bak in the northern edge of Baton Rouge that was my most regular haunt. I could be found mostly there or points south or southwest in Louisiana.

Went into the main league bar in town tonight and they have karaoke. Bad pool players don't offend the whole bar.😉
They all wanted to be able to sing , now we all wish they actually could sing.

That list had me living in 4 diff states!!🤣
 
Most all my old stops have turned into video gaming parlors. It’s funny, one of them still has the imprints of the old bar boxes on their carpet

I am pretty certain that list was none too honest! I didn't mind it though. Better other people chasing me than me having to chase them!

Could be worse. My old stops were empty hulks or vacant lots with old signs out front twenty years or more ago. Last time I went by the signs were gone! One chuckle, I was about twenty five or so when my old partner and I went in Slicks, Signoriello's or something like that. Got shortened to Slicks. Buncha punk kids in there! We shook our heads over what it had came to.

After thirty minutes or so it dawned on me. We were punk kids when we went in there every week too some ten years before!

Bad Cue Porn

If you’re north county San Diego, then the Stage Coach Inn is the place to go. A very pool-centric dive bar if there ever was one.

My low dive already mentioned: I came in one afternoon and the owner had hired a barmaid from the rich side of town. She and her boyfriend were the only people there and both shaking like bird dogs passing peach pits. None of the clientele was the gentile kind and Don and Johnny, a couple bikers, had passed through and said they would be back in a bit to kill her boyfriend if he was still there and rape her.

I wasn't particularly concerned, I knew Don and Johnny. Johnny was carrying but not inclined to get into too much hassle. The girl was pretty and offered free beer if I would hang around and babysit them. Sure, not passing on free beer. Don and Johnny did come back. When they found me there they talked a bit and left. As expected, while they had fun scaring hell out of the couple, they had no intention of getting too carried away.

Just anudder day in paradise! Once the evening crowd started coming in I moved on to greener pastures.
