I didn't recognize him in yesterday's stream!

I saw him on one stream where he had a goatee. It looked good on him.

I'm glad he finally snapped a decent tournament off. He was due.

this is his third Eurotour title
Past wins: 2016 Italian Open and Tampere Open from 2023

Yeah, he has gotten in much better shape. It's led to a higher level of play. But he is still inconsistent.

I witnessed very closely Mieszko taking down Tampere Eurotour title in 2023 and I have to admit he was in dead punch making everything effortlessly without any signs of nerves. At best he's one of the accurate shooters around. For some reason not too many international titles, yet.

Its a hard game at the top of hill.

Hence my earlier post. Fortunski got to the finals of the UK Open in May 2024 and lost to Robbie Capito 13-10. Really should have won it.

And then? Lost his first two matches in the WPC in June 2024 and got knocked out on the loser's side by ... Nikos Ekonomopoulos.

At the European Open in early August 2024, he lost his first match, won a close victory over Max Eberly and was knocked out of the tourney by ... Radoslaw Babica.

At the US Open in late August 2024, he won his first two matches, then lost his next two by wide margins to Wu Ku Lin and Michael Feliciano.

He did not play at the Hanoi Open last year due to the WNT-WPA dispute.

He did play in the WPA World 8-ball tourney. Sent to the losers side early, but got to the final 16 before he was knocked out.

Not invited to other Predator events with smaller fields. I gather he was behind other top-ranked Polish players on the invitee list.

In 2025, he got knocked out in the final 64 of the UK Open by Biado. He did not play in the Euro Open.

He definitely slimmed down and looks like he is leaner - much more chiseled features - I did not recognize him either on the screen the other day - seeing him in person several years ago he was much less lean looking - this newer appearance suggests perhaps a much healthier diet as well as workout routine. He plays a great game of 14.1 as well.

Fortunski is a wonderful player. I would describe his game as well-rounded and he plays pretty high percentage pool.

Relative to the other Polish players, though, I'd say he doesn't pocket as well as Konrad J and he doesn't run the table as efficiently as Szewczyk or Zielinski.

Jbart is right! Fortunski lacks consistency, but his well-rounded game gives him a chance to do something special when he is on. He is an interesting player to watch.

My mistake...my bad! I remember now it was Lechner I saw with the goatee. Fortunski would probably look good with one too though!

An NO...no man crushes here!!! 😒
