OK, heres the deal. Mr Alf Taylor wants to give a copy of his book "The other side of the road" to one of our fellow AZBers. I suggested to just have a little contest so people will at least become aware of the book and we will have a lucky winner who will recieve a copy.

So with great thanks to Alf Taylor for coming to our little pool world bareing gifts. Alf please chime in with info on where the book can be purchased and you money back guarentee.

Please just post a quick welcome to Alf Taylor (this is my idea not his) When he first posted here some A-Hole wasn't very welcoming :( once there is enough posts or in about a week a number will be drawn based on how many posts there are and the corresponding post will win. Cdryden, the douchebag was me. I really wasn't trying to give him a hard time I just wasn't thinking about what I wrote. Thanks for playing along though.

Oh btw I'm in San Antonio and if i receive the book I would read it then donate it to the wounded warriors center here so some fellow vets could get some enjoyment out of it as well.

Man, I would love to come to SBE this year. I always enjoy it, however the cons outweigh the pros for me to go this year. Its just too much $$ I'm afraid. I am sure I will catch up with you at some point though in the near future especially if there is a pint in in for me :) Hope all is well with you.
 
I knew I should have stopped and took a look at your book when I was at DCC but I was to busy looking at real life pool. Sorry you got your feelings hurt but buck up man this is AZbilliards.

p.s. Just a warning there is an A$$ Hole here that goes by JB but don't let him get your goat.:thumbup:
 
Welcome Alf. I would love to read your book. It sounds very interesting and probably a lot of people mentioned in it that I saw when I was younger. Thanks for writing it, as those were interesting days in pool.
