Strange rule here. I would think he had to shoot from behind the line. Maybe the ref(?) was afraid to call it on Earl. He would have erupted like a volcano.

They mentioned it earlier
 
I did not sign up at the IPT site. And just went to the site and I'm able to view the match.

Yeah I guess they just did it that way as a quick fix to the slow response time of there home site.
