This is a 1987 R12. It is a 20.5 ounce, 13 mm ivory ferrule, 58 inch cue.

The cue is in flawless condition, not a scratch, ding or dent....

Original: finish, wrap, tip and joint protectors.

The cue will come with the original sale receipt from June 1987 and a letter of description and provenance from Chris Tate, The Palmer Collector, who was the second owner of this cue. I aquired the cue from him in 2005.

$1375.00 buys this fine piece of Schon history. Firm, no trades.

Thanks!

Chris Tate has a huge knowledge about the R-Series Schon
but i always thought that the Runde Schons had stitched rings and the Clark Schons are the ones with the silver rings.
On the other Hand, the sharp Points shows that this is a Runde Schon.

Nope, not always. The receipt for this cue shows a $35 charge for the silver rings. Dashed rings were the standard into the mid 1980's, after that silver rings were standard but you could still order the dashed.

WOW! Awsome!

I've got the same cue with green veneers...and it is still in mint condition.

It's been retired for at least 20 years...I picked it up at Champs Billiards in Dallas.

I just bought an old Schon from Herseybarbilli recently. He delivers exactly what is advertised. Good guy and one hell of a cue!!!

R series schons will always be the beauties. This is one of my fave, along with the r2 and r6. Goodluck on your sale sir. BTW, you don't happen to have an r2 or r6 lying around do you?

I want this cue to be sold! I can't stand just looking at it and not pulling the trigger - but it really is out of my price range and I know I must save money... But God, are you making it difficult!

Best of luck for you with your sale!
