jazznpool said:I had "Little Al" Romero make me a group of simple REAL sneaky petes. They are all made from selected and very straight 57" Purpleheart or Bocote USA Valley Supremes (now made in China). The cues all have a piloted 5/16-14 wood to wood joint (see photo) and they are perfectly blended. The shafts have been slightly retapered and treated with SlipStic lubricant. The cues are well balanced and have a lacquer type finish on them. They are equipped with Valley standard 3/4" fibre ferrule and Elkmaster type tip. These cues play very solid (kept one myself) and are bargain priced at $80.00 plus 12.00 Priority Mail shipping. I have 100% Ebay feedback (jazznpool) and local references. USA sales only please.

Mine is a 3/8-10 flat faced sneaky, but if these feel as good, as mine does to me. I would say $80 is a real good price. I heard that, Al's brand-new price is $150.woody_968 said:I think he meant the 80 was the reduced price.

The guy's got to eat, I guess.jazznpool said:Tracy, Al's new price has been $200.00 for over a year. One day he raised his pete by 50.00 and went from 5.00 to 10.00 to install a tip. Still a good value. Al puts a lot of work into his petes. When he cycles through his supply of USA valley butt he says he's likely to focus on custom cues only.
