Since I just picked up a new table I've decided to sell my 10' Gold Crown.

I purchased the table from The Ritz* in 2003
*(The Ritz is one of the oldest existing rooms in Utah)

The table was originally a snooker table which I had converted to play regular pool on. A few years ago I got sick of playing snooker so I had Artemis cushions put on and the pockets cut to accept full size pool balls.

The table is pretty old so the slate isn't in the greatest condition. The cloth is fairly used but still in playable condition.

In some pictures it appears as though there is black smudge in various places on the cloth. This is just a fleck of dirt on my camera lens that I didn't notice until I downloaded the pictures.

I just finished disassembling the table today so it is apart & ready to pick up.

$800 O.B.O
Pick-up only
Location- Salt Lake City, Utah
Please feel free to PM

Thanks guys. This is a great table for 1-pocket and 14.1. Playing on this table will really test your sanity while improving your shotmaking.;)

Jeesh.
That'd be a great snooker or 3-c table even.

my room in a.c. we have a 12 ft snooker and 2 heater 10 ft billiards tables. i am very lucky

i play 9 ball with the big balls on the 12 ft snooker and get out

They are heavy... I thought for a second that I might have busted one of my fingers while my friend and I were moving it. :p

As far as the slates go- Nothing really major. It just needs some bondo or wax work in a couple of spots. When I took the cloth off I just noticed that the slate looks more worn than on a newer GC.

Andrew is 100% correct about this table developing your shot making abilities. I've only been playing pool for about 2.5 years now, but pretty much all of my practice has been on this table. When I started out, I couldn't make a ball on 7 footer to save my life. Now after logging easily over 1000 hours on this table, playing on a very tight 9 foot Diamond feels really natural to me. Even though I cannot play great position, I still have multiple break-and-runs during any session on any 9 footer. Something I wouldn't be able to do w/o this table.

I hate to see this table go. :(

P.S. Andy is a good guy to deal with!

Shane, thanks for helping me move those slates yesterday. I definitely owe you some beer & Indian food.:D Thanks for the kind words as well.

I use to play on an old 5x10 Brunswick anniversary converted snooker to pool table. Wish you were located in Illinois. Great Deal. Deacon

Jack Briet................?

Of Course!!!! I knew it but my head just would not let me find it. Appreciate the help. Jim

The next time I get criticized for shooting left handed but aiming w/my right eye I'll refer them to Jack Briet. End of discussion.
