STILL FOR SALE:
OB Break Shafts, Turn that solid cue you have laying around into a awesome break cue with one of these OB Special Break Shafts.

Please Note: OB Cues puts a sticker around the joint collar where I am measuring the diameter of the collar. To the best of my ability, I am deducting .04 thousands as I do not want to remove this clear sticker that says ob cues. I am also giving measurements at the intersection where the wood meets the ferrule for shaft size.

Break Model # 18 B, 5/16 x 18 thread, Black Collar, 29”, .shaft size is .515 decimal = 13.08 mm, collar diameter is .840 thousands. Weight is 4.2 oz.

OB Cues provides the joint diameter for each of their stock joint types on their web site.
5/16-14 is .840
3/8-10 is .850

People will now know the guideline you've pointed out to them, however, I believe in your last line of your profile in blue. " If you're gonna sell cues-buy a scale & calipers..."

It's a time consuming effort on my behalf to record everything, but, hopefully my effort in details is appreciated. Thanks Again for pointing out the OB Guide Line.

Break Model # 10 B, 3/8 x 10 thread, Black Collar, 29”, .shaft size is .513 decimal = 13.03 mm, collar diameter is .826 thousands. Weight is 3.8 oz.

Are you sure the collar diameter is correct? This size would provide a less than satisfactory fit for most cues with 3/8X10 pin.

I have corrected the collar measurements and appreciate AZ Members mdavis228 & neihin to question me on them. I looked at a lower section on my paper when entering the collar measurements into my word document that I copy and paste in here, dug the paper out of the waste basket and seen what I done.
mdavis228: I'm forgetting the micrometer and just using the ob site as you suggested !!,

Thanks Guys !!!

Great break shaft. I have one on my BK2. IMHO it breaks better than the bk2 shaft. Glws.
