I have for sale three brand new and unopened containers of Butcher's Bowling Alley Wax. Butcher's comes highly recommended from quite a few people on this site. Each one is 16oz, and should last a lifetime.

I bought some of this wax after reading another thread and it's the best wax i've ever used on my shafts. I tried other types of wax before I found out about this one and I didn't like the results. Butcher's Bowling Alley Wax works great on shafts and it seals the wood well without collecting chalk and dirt. After the initial coat of this wax all I have to do is wipe my shaft down after playing.

wow, lots of interest...I looked at the time stamps on all the PMs and posts and sent payment info to the first two people. I'll wait a little bit and if they pay it's theirs. If not I'll then just send PMs to the next person(s) in line.
 
rocket. i didnt want to step on your toes. i dont know where you got it from but when you are sold out i know where you everyone can get it. since there so much interest. when you have yours sold then i will tell ppl.

its a very good product. imo
 
This stuff is pretty good. I went out and bought two tins and found out my wife already had one for use on the hardwood floors.

I have over 20 cues and used this stuff on all of the ones I use. Nice and smooth now.

You'll never have to worry about slipping and falling on those hardwood floors... they should have great traction with the stickiness of this Bowling Alley Wax. It's not nearly as slick as Karseal Q Wax. I got mine from Muellers. It's much better than this stuff. I have a can somebody can have free if they come and get it. I'll never use it on a cue. It's just not slick. It's sticky.

Jim,

Just wondering if you applied it by hand or with the aid of a lathe? I've been using it for years on shafts, applying it via a lathe, and it works great. I remember seeing a thread somewhere years ago that said some "Gus" guy used to use the stuff so I figure if it's good enough for his cues......
 
i apply it with a lathe or by hand. as far as being sticky i guess at first it is i you use too much. i get mine from...

I've looked for it all around my neck of the woods and NO ONE sells it. I must give it a try...
