FS - Chris Nitti Cues (2 brand new ones)

Couple of brand new Nittis being listed for a friend. If anyone is interested in these, please call 423-488-7989 and ask to speak with Bill. I won't be around much for the next several days so PMs will probably go unanswered. Deal directly with Bill...the transaction will be completed with him, not me. No worries...he's stand up.

Here are the specs....each come with two shafts, non ivory ferrules but ivory inlays and ringwork. Wood to wood joints with Radial pins and thin walled steel sleeves. Full set of black joint protectors. Gorgeous birdseye on both sticks. Both are 2006, but unplayed in a collection since then.

WARNING....THESE CUES WILL NOT MAKE YOU A CHAMPION....BUT YOU WILL CERTAINLY LOOK LIKE ONE !!!! :)

1. 58", 19.5oz (15.9 butt, shafts are 3.6 and 3.7), 13.03mm and 12.95mm....asking $1540

Do you have actual pictures of the butts? Those sure look like computer generated images. :)

i am sure those are the actual butts and forearms.i think cueaddicts run their cues through the scanner instead of photographing them.

Exactly! They have been using a large flatbed scanner for as far back as I can remember for their cue images. It generally allows for some very clear pics, even on the large scale.

I guess what caught my eye was the "glare" on the end of the butt, right before the bumper. It sure looks to be exactly the same on both cues, as if it were a computer generated effect. The background also looks identical. Not that there's anything wrong with it if they are, I was just curious.

I've been wrong before!

Chris does a real clear, flat finish and what you are seeing there is the reflection of the scanner bulb as it passes by...curved obviously because the cue's circumference is curved and it's passing by the beveled lip of the butt cap. Background is the same....well, the same white hand towel. :)

Scans are sized to give you a visual right at the same size of the actual cue. They aren't perfect (you sometimes lose just a bit of the resolution at the edges of the inlays), but the smaller file sizes are much more manageable for us and the site than the alternatives we've looked at. They've worked well for us.

If you are interested in the cue, PM me and I'll see about getting you some actual pics. Maybe by the weekend. I've been covered up with work.

Another bump for Bill...call him at 423-488-7989 with your offers, boys !!

I'm sure something can be worked out to where you can pick the cue up at the SBE (Valley Forge) in a month, too, if you want to pre-arrange something or see these cues in person first. They are pristine...new.

bump. may soon list these on our site. we are in the middle of a site format conversion. please bear with us.

Nitti cues

These 2 cues look great and I especially like the highly figured birdseye maple in the forearms. Maple of that quality sets a cue off to me and Chris's work is outstanding. I have a friend who plays with a Nitti and he loves the way his cue plays.

Are you interested in trades on either cue?

Graeme

Really depends on what the proposed trade is, but I know Bill is predominantly looking for some near offers on these two Nittis.
