Thanks all! - Appreciate you opening pics Dennis. I haven' learned that yet.....

I was the original owner of this cue purchased from Ed early in 2006. It is a prototype and I didnt have other interests at this time, I would definately pick it up. Fantastic figures in the wood and a very solid hit. Not for the weak of heart or stroke. Good luck on the sale. Deacon

I've collected cues for over 10 years now. I feel like a real idiot when I see cues like this...and don't know why they fetch the price they do. Beautiful piece of purpleheart, I must say. Love that stuff. Good luck with the sale. I'm going to have to play with one of his cue's sometime.

I once owned this cue and if I can scrape together the money I will own it again!
Great cue!
Great price!
If you like a stiff hitting, solid cue, you won't regrete buying this one!

Hey all - thanks for the positive words and info on this cue and offers. Still accepting.....

I measured the shafts and noticed small horizontal crack in one ferrule. See pic. Considering this and where most offers have been - will take 1300. money order.

Thanks, Bill

Doesn't look to be a crack to me, just a scratch, cracks in ferrules tend to run from tip to shaft
Unusual to find 4oz shafts on a Ed Young, usualy they would be in the mid 3 oz's

?

Could be a scratch - I thought was weird to be horizontal, but wanted to mention in case it's cracked. Doesn't affect play - is just visiblty noticeable.

Thanks for the offers so far - still available - anyone?
May consider other cues as partial trade - primarily interested in hustler / plain jane stainless joint / Predator sneaky? Justis or Predator 2x4.....

CUE IS SOLD - PENDING PAYMENT - THANKS ALL! BILL 5/11/08
