It saddens me to post, but here it is.
This cue is #420 from the first batch of 3 cues from Ernie Martinez.

Ernie's Description: triangle tips; melamine ferrules; joint & butt ring work natural linen phenolic; joint pins are my custom made brass 3/8-12; all taper work on shafts and butts are my original specs; all cues are marked with a serial number inlaid under the wrap using apoxy (can be seen by x-ray?) as well as written under the buttcap (shown in pictures). The shafts are 13mm and the weight will be made to your specs between 18.5 & 19.5. Birdseye maple used for forearm & buttsleeve.

Cue is in excellent condition. It has been babied by me. There are two small dings on the shaft. I believe the cue is 19.5, have to confirm. I will update this post with pictures soon.

I am asking $500.00 shipped for the cue.
Contact me if you're interested.

Folks, I have seen this cue in person and it's a BEAUTY!

This cue is a clean, classy example of one of the finest Cue Makers on the Planet.

I can't imagine this will last long.

Which one is the one you're selling there're three in the picture?

he said it was NUMBER 420.. i believe they are pictured in order.. from left to right nubers 418 419 and 420.. so it would be the cue pictured to the right....

I'm just a bit perplexed as to how this cue can be for sale still at this price, when Ernie's list is as long as it is for a higher price.....

This is a great cue and a super price. My only reason for not jumping on it is that I am on the list for one of his cues and right now we don't know what they will be like. The second batch is a week or 2 from being completed. Perhaps other potential buyers are in the same boat...that is all I can figure.

Bama: Thanks for posting the pictures.

I've been too busy moving into a new place that I haven't gotten a chance to take pictures. Sorry guys.

Here is the original post for the 1st 3 cues Ernie made during his comeback: it should answer most questions except for what weight was finalized. Good luck.

Ernie's First Batch of Cues!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hello,

The wait is over, Ernie Martinez has completed the first batch of 3 cues as promised. This is a very good sign and great for pool.

Letter of authenticity will be included. Price $575 + shipping costs.

$500 shipped is a steal. Search for the thread: "Ernie's First Batch of Cues!" to view the whole thing and see additional pictures.

Sold!

SOLD!!

I can't stand it! So many nice cues, so little money.

But I can't watch this great cue sit here anymore! Arrggghhh, I'll take it off your hands, matey, just so we can mark it "Sold"!

Seriously, I'll see ya Monday night at 7:00, with a place in my case for this sweet Martinez.
