That is a really nice cue, and certainly worth your asking price. However, the cue was made after Runde left the company. The cue pictured was made or at least the shaft was made in 1993. That was the only year that schon was stamped on the shaft collar like you cue. Another thing that makes me beleive the cue and the shaft are original to each other, is that the Runde Era Schons also had matching stitch rings at the A-joint, below the wrap and above the butt cap. It is also a know fact that since Schon is a production / custom cue maker, if ordered you could still get those stitch rings on a cue throughout the 1990's. Refer to page 706 of the Blue Book of Cues and read the paragraph located there, it explains why and what year the Schon stamp on the collar was done.

I mean no disrespect, and the cue is certainly worth your asking price, I am just trying to add some information you did not know.

Take care

It comes with 2 shafts. The one that has the stamped Schon near the rings (1993) and the other is an early 80's stitched ring. I'll post some pictures as soon as I find my cable adaptor.

Offer Made!

PM'd an offer on the cue. Let me know what you decide. If it helps the sale, early R-1 cues were made without stitched rings at the wrap as well. Good luck with sale.
Thanks, Rodger
