FS/FT: Scott Gracio Bloodwood and Ebony Cue

Gracio Bloodwood, 8 high/low Ebony points, 3 shafts and leather wrap

This was Scott Gracio's former playing cue that was refinished by Gracio with a new leather wrap. I bought this to try out a Gracio cue and I would not hesitate to buy another.

Specifications:
* butt - 14 3/4 oz 29.5" inches
* Shaft one - 3 3/4 oz. 12.20mm, unknown ferrule, Sniper tip. hair under 29"
* Shaft two - 3 3/4 oz. 12.40mm, buckhorn ferrule, Triangle tip 29.5" long
* Shaft three- 3 7/8 oz 12.90mm, unknown ferrule, Triangle tip 29.5" long

Joint: 3/8x10 thread, phenolic

Forearm: Bloodwood with red veneers around 4 high ebony points, 4 low ebony points without veneers

Red/Black/Red rings above and below the wrap

Wrap: Textured leather

Butt Sleeve: Bloodwood with red veneers around 4 high reverse ebony points, 4 low ebony points without veneers

Butt Cap: phenolic

Condition:
I received the cue Refinished and like new. Since then I have played a session with each shaft just to get a feel for them.

One of the shafts has a dirty ferrule (came that way when I received the cue and you can see it in the middle shaft in the photo) and I haven't tried to clean it as that shaft has a soft hit, and I don't care for it. The other two shafts are nice and stiff, to my liking. Naturally, the cue is still in excellent condition just as I received it.

i suggest you change the tip on at one shaft,your tips are probably too soft. I hate those milk dud tips for myself,even if they are elk masters they can be too soft if they are not compressed.it is my experience that too soft tips are the cause of too soft hit most of the time,.
This is a cheap fix for a cue that is nice other than the soft hit

I like this cue. Bloodwood and ebony make a great combination for a players cue. Very solid hit.

I played a lot of games with that cue. I'd guess it's cue #30. It was my first or second try at veneers.

This cue has three different shafts from different sources. I was experimenting with shaft suppliers back then and the soft hitting shaft has a sad story behind it. In short I never purchased another $50 square shaft blank again.
