No i got this one from chuckles a few weeks ago and the xtra shaft from joe salazar at the Atlanta show.

Yeah this is the same cue. I traded it to my buddy and he sold it on ebay but the buyer couldnt raise the cash so i bought it back.

I have had a few PM's abouth this cue.I seen the response that scruggsinhand posted and said no this is not the one that was on ebay.He posted up the link from ebay and i had no clue that my buddy had posted it so i texted him and he stated he did have it on ebay. One PM implied about my integrity and i am not going to let a $400 cue sale disgrace my reputation.I have had way to many deals on here with several individuals to have anybody concerned about my sales. So i will take the gilbert off the board for sale because i don't want anyone having any worries or concerns.
Thanks

I'll tell ya what. I've personally done a few deals with Shane. I personally
would not hesitate to deal with him on anything. What does it even matter
that this cue was on EBAY or not? As long as the cue is what Shane
describes it to be, why is that neither here nor there? The cue looks great,
and with 2 shafts, the price is great. Either buy it or dont. Well I guess no
can any more, can they. Geez people, what the hell is wrong with you? Do
you see his itrader? Has anyone not been happy dealing with Shane? WTF?
Some people just have sticks up their arses. I dont get it. Good luck with
your other sales Shane. I'm sorry that you had to take this off the market.
Someone missed out on a great cue for a great price here. Sorry, but I had
to share my opinion in this matter.

This is funny! Buy low sell high!

Buy low, sell high. What's so funny about that? Isnt that what the
free market is founded on? What the hell do you think Walmart does?
Who gives a flying crap what he paid for it? Is it a good deal right now,
and would someone enjoy the cue for the price he's asking? Your post
helped no one here. Just wasted space. Just like mine, but mine wouldnt
of been here if yours wasnt. Sorry again Shane. You dont need to be taking
this crap. Wow. This crap really bugs me.

I share Shamadam's sentiment above.

It makes no difference whether or not this cue (or any other) was listed on Ebay. That makes it no less of a cue.

If you want the cue but don't like the price, make an offer.

If you don't like the cue and don't want to buy, etc, stay off his sales thread.

This is a nice cue at a very nice price, and Shane is a great person to deal with.

Joe

I agree with you wholeheartedly. Why does it matter if it was on Ebay. BTW scruggsinhand was the guy who was screwing people out of money a year ago. I am not even sure why he's aloud on here.

Tap, tap, tap......Thats where I knew the nickname from. I wasnt sure, but
I remember now. Tsk. Tsk. Tsk.....

I believe that cue was originally mine. It is just how it is described and I dont know why people care what the asking price is. Just make a low ball offer like normal and get on with your day.

Dealers on here all the time buy cues from EBAY and then sell them at a higher price. If you dont like the asking price dont buy it, and sure as HELL dont comment on the thread

Shane you are always one of the top member here that I always trust to deal with

I am one who sent Shane a PM. My pm was not about whether this cue was on e-bay. I don't care if it was on e-bay. And, I don't care what he paid for the cue.

My pm to Shane was about answering the question about is being on e-bay first no (post #4) and then yes (post #6). Shane addressed the variance in his response in post #10. I'm satisfied Shane is a stand up guy.

I sent a pm to Shane instead of commenting in this thread because I knew I didn't know all the facts. And, I didn't want to hurt anyone's reputation without knowing the facts. Therefore, I kept my comments/questions between Shane and myself.

I have initiated contact with Shane about purchasing the cue. Hopefully, we can find a suitable agreement that benefits both of us.

Steven

Steven, all great points and absolutely, Shane is one of the good guys on here....I would never hesitate to do a deal with him. :) Sean

I was a bidder on that cue on fleabay and wondered if there was something wrong with the cue...and for the record, I wasn't bashing his price as I didn't mention that at all. The cue is worth whatever its worth and I made no comment to that effect and was not implying that either. Some serious assumptions were made here...

cbaumann - you didn't have any problems with me when you were looking to help move that SW earlier this year and I was a potential buyer - funny how that works...

shamadam - you also didn't have a problem with me as a potential buyer for one of your cues since then either...

Shane, I apologize and I will edit my post -- I have done a couple deals with Shane with no problems whatsoever...

I am offering(have offered to Shane) to buy the cue or to make up the difference in the sale as determined by Shane....
