For sale is a HERCEK, which is NEAR MINT TO MINT CONDITION (closer to MINT). The cue features Ivory diamonds in the sleeve and one in each of the 4 razor-sharp points into Curly Maple. The sleeve and points are most likely Cocobolo or some kine of Rosewood. The joint is piloted Ivory with a 5/16-14 screw. The shafts have Ivory ferrules, look unplayed and roll straight together and apart. One shaft rolls dead straight; the other has a very, very slight taper roll in the middle of the shaft, but is straight. The wrap is Joel's patented smooth brown leather. The butt cap is Ivory with Hercek's name engraved therein.

The specs are:

Length: 28.75 + 28.75 = 57.5.inches.

Weight: 18.4 oz. with either shaft; the butt alone weighs 14.5 oz.

Shaft Diameters: 12.78 mm and 12.71 mm.

FRANKO, the person who had Joel make this cue for him, informs me that the cue was completed in 2004.

SOLD pending receipt of payment.

Rosewood

I was the original owner of the cue . The cue is Brazilian Rosewood and the wrap was the first time Joel ever put a Brown wrap on the cue. I myself had never played with it.GLWS

Bump to page 1. I'm reducing the price by $300 to $4,150. This is my one and only price reduction on this cue.

Now Considering Trades

I will now consider cash and partial trade offers for this fine Hercek cue.

The owner of this consignment Hercek has instructed me to reduce this cue by another $300, to $3,850. Even if he begs me to further reduce the price, I'm going to refuse to do so and delist the cue if it does not sell in the very near future. So, what are you waiting for? Pull the trigger.

Nobody can or will sell a better and bigger Hercek for less. So, again, why are you waiting to pull the trigger?

The Forum can seem like a magical garden at times.
Imagine, here's a piloted ivory joint Hercek cue for under $4k.
Couple days ago, a gorgeous Ed Prewitt cue (flat ivory joint) sold really fast @ $3k.

Mike, as I explained in my PM, if my pending cue purchase doesn't hold up,
I'll be in contact about this Hercek cue presuming, of course, it's still available.

this is insane and the best price ever for the inlay Hercek, if it were not for the ivory contents of the custom issue these days I will jump all over it

I've gotten several PMs at the blow-out price of $3,850 on this ivory inlaid Hercek. It should have been sold already. It is just waiting for an astute buyer of fine custom cues to pull the trigger. So, who's it going to be????

I've received several trade + cash offers on this Hercek, but not the right one. There is no better cue by a better maker on AZ right now. Let's get this cue sold.
