Joe, I lived in Bangkok for more than three years. I know the city a bit :D And, it's no longer called Megabreak, it's called "Ball in Hands". And the owners have opened 2nd venue. And yes, it's where I can be found in afternoons and evening.
QUOTE]

I spent a couple of weeks there every year from 2000-2005 with my work. Megabreak was a nice room, but I am certain there are many more in such a huge place. Bangkok is really a nice place, and not because of any "seedy" reasons. The Thai people are just super.

Until you learn to speak and understand the language

We all know that people are the same where ever you go
there is good and bad in everyone
we learn to live we learn to give each other what we need to survive together alive

I've asked to provide weight of the Butt Sections is?, Each Shaft?, POB?

I will do shortly

Somebody save me,
Let your warm hands break right through it,
Somebody save me,
I don’t care how you do it, just
Stay, stay
C’mon, I’ve been waiting for you

bump for Jazz and a great cue at a great price

I will try to take it out and hit it with it again.

Scott, I'm sure you know my version of "stiff" ... so I'm a bad judge of it.

Not sure if the cue will make it into my case tomorrow as I think my DA BOMB (or heirloom cue) is coming in tomorrow along with one other one.

Two cues that always stay in my case are a Sugartree and a Tucker .. sweet hitting cues :D

New Room in Bangkok

Been there done that Rat .. I used to live there. Now days, all I'd do is hang out at a pool hall .. that's right, a pool hall .. in Thailand.

And go to some restaurants I miss. Visit friends and their family .. see the new babies (not mine) .. fairly normal stuff.

Jazz,
Next time in Bangkok, check out "Rack em Up" at RCA Plaza. It just opened this summer. Now it is the nicest room in town. Ben & Bee (you probably know them from the BIH tournaments) are the owners. They have Tuesday night handicapped 9-ball tournaments when David Dennison is in town to run them (I think he's soon going home for the holidays.)

PS: I'm sure More misses you.

This is insane...I don't know what you're trying to pull here buddy but the Buss is worth $85 tops.

$85?
I'll give him $90. :)
If it doesn't sell, I might quit tinkering with wood already.

Great, send me all your finished wood my way :D

I actually have someone who said he will buy it next week ... but I wanted to close the deal this week if possible.

Someone is gonna get a great cue this Christmas w/out breaking his back.
Jim Buss is up in there among the elite makers.
I first saw Jim Buss at the old Best Billiards. They even showed his blanks.
